He was born on February 13,1943 in Birmingham, Alabama the son of the late Clyde Richard Jordan and Ruby Mae McCulley Jordan.
Roy was a Veteran of the United States Army and a heavy equipment mechanic.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Henson and Deborah Jordan; a brother, George Richard Jordan.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Pat” Williams Jordan of Cedartown; children, Dawn & Mike Giddens of Anniston, AL, Chris & Malia Jordan of Haleyville, AL and Ricky J. Jordan of Tampa, FL; brothers, Larry & Sonya Jordan of Foley, AL and Stephen and Clara Jordan of Woodland, AL; grandchildren, Logan & Angel Giddens, Jordan Giddens, Hunter Jordan, Case Jordan, Taylor & Matt Bridgemon and Ty Black; great grandchildren, Emory Bridgemon, Connor Giddens, Mia Bridgemon and Drake Bridgemon.
