Lorene Hall Smith of Houston, Texas and formerly of Helena died Monday, July 30, 2007 at her home.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, Ernie Jones and J.D. Davis; a son, Chester Jones; a sister, Lottie Givens; and four brothers, Arthur, Elbert, Forrest, and Robert Hall.
She leaves three children, Ernestine Freeman of West Helena, Charolette Mitchell and Jim Davis of Houston, Texas; a daughter-in-law, Joan Jones of Fayetteville, N.C.; a sister, Ila Marie Henderson of Greenwood, Miss.; eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 2 at Roller-Citizens Funeral Home and graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 3, 2007 at Sunset Memorial Park.
