Dorothy Ellen Eidson Harris was born on February 10, 1932, to Ray and Gladys West Eidson in Okmulgee, Oklahoma and went to be with the Lord on March 19, 2020, whom she called on daily “HELP ME LORD” while in Grace Living Center in El Reno.
Dorothy graduated from Northeast High School and was one of eight children: Ray Eidson Jr., Jimmy Eidson, Gene Eidson, Dwight Eidson, twins Harry & Larry Eidson, and Charlotte Eidson. Dorothy retired from UPS in 1994. Dorothy spent the last years of her life in a Nursing Home after having an emergency surgery in April 2017.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents Ray and Gladys Eidson; grandparents Jim Bob and Mary Ellen Eidson, and John and Charlotte West; brothers Ray Eidson, Jr., Jimmy Eidson and wife Bea, Gene Eidson and wife Rosemary, Harry Eidson, and Larry Eidson; sister Charlotte Eidson; great granddaughter Ruby Faith Ross; and special friend Joe Gubitosi.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter Paula and husband Jarvis Wright; sons Jim and wife Patty Harris, and Mark and wife Marilyn Harris all of Yukon; 6 grandchildren Randy; 6 great grandchildren; brother Dwight Eidson and wife Sherry of Ada; and numerous nieces and nephews.
