Larned – Roger G. Fox, 93, passed away March 19, 2020 at University of Kansas Health System Pawnee Valley Campus.
He was born May 11, 1926 in Larned, the son of Walter and Gladys Strader Fox. A lifetime area resident, he was a farmer/stockman.
He was a member of the Larned United Methodist Church and church finance committee; he sat on the Co-Op board and served as the township treasurer. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W and American Legion, both of Larned and served in the United States Army.
On February 18, 1951 he married Lois E. Fischer at Larned; she preceded him in death on April 30, 2001.
Survivors include: two daughters, Sherry (Steve) Webster and Marsha (Kale) Erway, both of Larned; five grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Lois and a brother, Walter “Mac” Fox.
