Jardin, Elsie Ann Jane (nee Snell)
1919-2008
It is with great sadness that the Jardin Family announces the passing of their beloved mother in her 89th year on Sunday, December 28th at the Freeport Hospice in Waterloo. Elsie is survived by her 5 children: Alan (Michelle) Jardin of Waterloo, Nancy (Gerry) Caron of Sudbury, Donna (Hugh) MacLachlan of Oshawa, Diane (Rick) Bryant of Bowmanville, and Kathryn (Bill) Boxall of Milton. She is also survived by her adored 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by infant daughter Carol Ann and husband Lyman. Elsie passed away exactly 8 days after her cherished husband of 65 Elsie was a proud mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a lover of years. literature, nature and music; she cherished time shared with husband, family and friends. Elsie was an only child whose mother Mabel Snell died when she was an infant. She was raised by her father George Snell and her aunt Minnie Snell. She was very close to her cousins Evelyn Smith, Edythe Smith, Jean Gear and Gordon McDowell who were like sisters and brother to her. Elsie, Mom, Grandma, you were the greatest and taught us so much. Family and friends are invited to visit at the McKERSIE-KOCHER FUNERAL HOME 114 Main St., Milton 905-878-4452 from 12 - 1 pm on MAY 9th, 2009 with a memorial service commencing at 1 pm in the Funeral Home Chapel, followed by a reception. Cremation has already taken place. To honor Elsie, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
