Kenneth W. Gosch, 80, Edinburgh, died Saturday morning at his home.

Born August 26, 1911, in Bartholomew County, Gosch was the son of Francis Frederick Gosch and Ida Irene Stucker Gosch. He married Rubie M. Oaks on Oct. 11, 1945 and she survives.

Also surviving are daughters, Brenda J. Gosch and Theresa L. Graham, both of Edinburgh; a sister, Inez Stott, of Franklin and three granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by a daughter and one brother.

He was a self-employed interior decorator. He was a member of the Edinburgh Church of the Nazarene, the Edinburgh American Legion Post No. 233 and a 1929 graduate of Edinburgh Community High School. He served with Patton's army in World War II.

Funeral was conducted by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home Tuesday at the Edinburgh Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Gale Ashby officiating. Burial was at Rest Haven Cemetery, where graveside rites were conducted by the Edinburgh American Legion.

Kenneth W. Gosch, 80, died Sunday at his residence in Edinburgh. He had lived in Edinburgh all of his life.

He was born August 26, 1911, in Bartholomew County. His parents were Francis Frederick Gosch and Ida Irene (Stucker) Gosch. He married Rubie A. Oaks October 11, 1945. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Brenda J. Gosch of Edinburgh and Theresa Graham of Edinburgh; a sister, Inez Stott of Franklin; and three granddaughters. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Paula Ann Gosch, four sisters and a brother.

He graduated from Edinburgh High School in 1929.

He was a self-employed interior decorator most of his life.

He was a member of the Edinburgh Nazarene Church and the Edinburgh American Legion Post 233.

He was an Army veteran of World War II. The Rev. Gale Ashby will conduct a service at 10:30 AM Tuesday at the Edinburgh Nazarene Church. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at church. The family will receive friends at the residence of the deceased today from 5 to 8 PM. Graveside military service will be conducted by the Edinburgh American Legion at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. Arrangements are being handled by Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh.
