Charlie V. Martin, 82 went to his eternal home on March 19, 2020. He was born on August 10, 1937 in Montgomery, AL to V.C. Martin and Odessa Gaston Martin. He worked as a rancher at Martin Cattle Ranch.
He was predeceased in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Purvis Martin; his sons, Ed Martin (Gina) and Alan Martin (Deborah) both of Demopolis, AL and his daughter Michelle Martin Graham (Tommy) of Prosper, TX. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
Graveside funeral service was held at the Demopolis Memorial Garden Cemetery on March 22, 2020 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Larry Anderson and Rev. Richard Scott officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes, Demopolis Chapel directing.
Pallbearers were Lance Ellis, Trey Graham, Chance Martin, David Martin, Jason Till, Loren Diller, Jason Tucker and Dustin Daughtery. Honorary Pallbearers were Wiley Daughtery, Bob Crane, RC Watts, Jimmy Sealey, Dick Canul, Jeff Cornelius, Dilton Emmerson, Larry Horne, Bobby Moorer, Olen Kirby, and Dr. Ted Studeman.
