Mrs. Jackson was the former owner of Jackson’s Florist and Jackson’s Monuments in Dexter, Missouri, where she was a floral designer and memorialist. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Dexter, since 1983 and a resident of Dexter. She was a past president and treasurer for the Altrussa Club. She was a member of the Jaycee wives and received an award for outstanding Jaycee wife.
On July 10, 1958, in Dexter, Missouri, she was united in marriage to Herman “Jack” Jackson. Mr. Jackson preceded her in death on April 27, 2017.
She is survived by her daughter, Cerendia L. Woollums and husband Ray of Dexter; by her son, Keith G. Jackson of Las Vegas, Nevada; by two sisters, Elnora Bernard and husband Jim of Reedsville, Ohio and Janice Allen and husband Dennis of Maple Park, Illinois; by two granddaughters, Jessica Brown and husband Brad of Dexter and Ashley Miller and husband Landon of Dexter; and by two great-grandchildren, Levi James Miller and Reagan Delaney Brown.
A private, family only, funeral service will be conducted at Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
