Roberta, the daughter of the late Omer and Mary Smith Nash, was born June 3, 1929, in Stillwater, Okla. She was united in matrimony to Donald W. Frisch on April 11, 1953. He preceded her in death on May 29, 2008, from pancreatic cancer.
She was a dedicated homemaker and Realtor with Century 21 in Baraboo. Roberta enjoyed knitting and will be remembered for the sweater worn by Baraboo High School's Thunderbird mascot. She loved camping and traveling with Don, especially to Branson, Mo., and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. Roberta was a member of the Walnut Hill Bible Church.
She is survived by a son, Gary (Michelle) Frisch of Baraboo, and his children, Amy (Matt) Orvis of Baraboo and Laura (Brett) Faulkner of Poynette; a daughter, Teri (Marty) Jacobi of Fitchburg, and their children, Lorena, Amaria, Camryn and Isaias Jacobi of Fitchburg; her brother, John Nash of Chula Vista, Calif.; and other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents and husband, Roberta was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Nash.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Walnut Hill Bible Church in Baraboo, with Pastor David Hutchens officiating. Visitation will be held from noon until the time of services Thursday at the church. Interment will follow in Walnut Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Walnut Hill Bible Church or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
