Graveside Service for Joyce Sparks, age 87, of Cullman, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2020, at Fairview Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Mac Buttram and Billy Coleman officiating.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Sparks passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Woodland Village Health Care. She was born July 2, 1932, to John L. and Lessie May Crawford.
Mrs. Sparks worked for 30+ years at the First Pasadena Bank in Houston, TX, where she retired as Senior Vice President. She was beloved by her staff and customers.
After retiring, Joyce, Joan, and Max moved back to Cullman, where they enjoyed gardening and sharing the Christmas spirit with the entire Cullman community. She was a long-time, faithful member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church, where she shared her gifts and talents with her church family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul C. Sparks; parents; beloved sister, Joan; and brother-in-law, Max.
Survivors include her host of church family and friends.
A special thanks to her caregivers at Westminster Assisted Living, Woodland Village, and Southern Care Hospice for their loving care of Mrs. Joyce.
