ETHEL R. RIENZO, 89, of HOLMDEL,formerly of Jersey City and Bayonne, died Sunday Aug. 5, at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel. She was born in Jersey City and lived in Holmdel for 20 years. Mrs. Rienzo had been an electronic worker with R.C.A., Harrison. She was a parishioner of St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel.

She was predeceased by her husband, George in 1970; a son, George in 2001; and a brother Joseph Sorrentino. Surviving are her son, Robert Rienzo and his wife, Marlene of Holmdel; a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Rienzo of Holmdel; a brother, Louis Sorrentino; two sisters, Dolores Francis and Grace Ann Halko; five grandchildren, Jason, Lisa, James, Monica and Jessica Rienzo; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Holmdel Funeral Home. A funeral Mass will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church, Holmdel.
