Mary Dolores Wyckoff of Marland has entered into the kingdom of heaven. She was 89 at the time of her passing on March 15, 2020.
Dolores was a hard working woman. She loved her family, the farm, and Patsy Cline. She was born on February 15, 1931 near Billings, Ok. The daughter of Harry Ingmire and his wife Mary Earlene Hines Ingmire. Dolores attended Marland Schools graduating High School in 1948. She was a gifted basketball player and was a vital part of the team.
Dolores and Herbert Erwin Wyckoff were married on June 6, 1948. They were blessed with three children. They settled down near Marland and she became a farmer's wife. She was made for it. Dolores worked side by side with Erwin every day. She drove tractors, worked cattle, and found time to grow a garden. If you saw Dolores in the tractor, she often had her dog Brandy with her.
She had a special way with the food she grew. Somehow she transformed it into the best tasting meal one has ever eaten. Then as if that wasn't amazing enough, she would top it off with, what the kids say, is the best white gravy in the county. She enjoyed listening to country music and loved the color pink. Her hands were rarely still, and she devoted time to her grandkids. The Yellow Rose of Texas was one of her favorite songs.
Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, grandson Christopher Partee, great granddaughter Zoe Partee, brother Daniel Ingmire and sister Mildred Dormire.
She leaves behind her husband Erwin Wyckoff of the home; son Donald R. Wyckoff and his wife LaDonna of Marland; Daughter Mary Partee of Choctaw; son Herbert A. Wyckoff and his wife Angela of Davis Junction, Illinois; grandchildren: Seletha Sanders, Cammie Bradley and her husband Dale, Donald E Wyckoff and his wife Jessica, Courtney White and her husband Zac, Jospeh Wyckoff and his wife Alexis, Erin Wyckoff, Jessica Partee, and five greatgrand children. She also leaves behind a brother Wilbur Ingmire and his wife Maureen.
