Darrell, known as Pat, was born to Carl Fred Benton and Doris Laverne Henderson Benton in Ft. Worth, Texas on July 30, 1947. He was in the Army and served in Vietnam and Germany. He was preceded in death by his father, brother David Carl Benton, Grandmother Eldoreata Key Benton Odle, Grandfather Newton Elbert Benton, Jr., and Great Grandmother Lorena Belle Mays Key Henson. He is survived by his mother Doris Benton.
