She was born June 6, 1950, in East Liverpool, the daughter of the late John "Bunk" and Jeannine (Shelton) Gualtier. In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her son, Brian J. Fields.
Vicki graduated from Wellsville High School in 1968. She had been employed at Superior Paint, was a secretary at W C Bunting Company, and most recently was the secretary at Roberts Funeral Home. Vicki was an active part of her community. She was a member of the Wellsville Sons of Italy Lodge #657, participated in the Alumni Activities Committee Lip Sync Shows, and was a proud majorette in the Wellsville Alumni Band. Vicki has always been a huge supporter of her children and grandchildren and could always been seen at their sporting events and other school activities. She was a member of Jehovah's Witness Kindgom Hall in Wellsville.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Burgess, whom she married December 5, 1988; three sons: Lonnie Ray Fields and his wife, Wendy, of Salineville, Ryan Burgess and his wife, Courtney, of Wellsville, and Brad Owens of Wellsville; and one daughter, Rachele Tatgenhorst and her husband, Chad, of East Liverpool. Also surviving are eight grandchildren: Jordan, Bradley, Beau, Devon, Hunter, Brooke, Quinton, and Chloe; and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Friday, March 20, 2020, at the Roberts Funeral Home, 631 Main Street in Wellsville.
