Ms. Lottie Davis, age 102, of All Healing Springs Road, Taylorsville, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 at Trinity Ridge in Hickory.

Lottie was born September 13, 1917 in Alexander County, the daughter of the late Sherman Bumgarner and Carrie Munday Bumgarner.

She had worked as a supervisor for Bell South Phone Company in her earlier years and later worked for Alexander County Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Taylorsville. She loved to garden and watch her flowers grow.

Including her parents, she was preceded in death by: four brothers, Simon, Max, Ben, and Conner Bumgarner.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory include: her son Larry Ned Warren of Rochester Hills, MI; two grandchildren, Mark Warren of CA, Christine Warren of MN; a brother, Crandford Bumgarner of the Bethlehem Community; numerous, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a very special friend, Harriet Gilleland.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Mt. Herman Baptist Church Cemetery. Dr. Carson Mosley will officiate.
