Russell Alvord Barrett Jr. passed away on December 27, 2019 in Aurora, Colorado. Born on July 12, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Emily Tinkler and Russell Barrett Sr.

During Russell's earlier years he served in the U.S. Army right after World War II and right before the Korean War.

Russell was an active golfer and very much enjoyed playing especially during retirement. He was a former member of NIMAGA, Northern Illinois Men's Amateur Golf Association. NIMAGA has been Chicago's leading premier golf tour since 1959.

He was a giving and kindhearted individual who was also a loving and caring father and husband.

Russell is survived by his daughter, Annette Christine Brook; grandchildren, Angela Brazie, Jennifer Russell, and Russell Bresk.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Florence Schneider and wives, Joan Christine Barrett and Norma Barrett.
