-------------
Barbara, born 1929, was the daughter of Edwin Brown & Sunshine Inez Strange. They married in 1922 per Sunshine’s obituary which is on her Find-A-grave page id #113738175. She never married Charles Manbeck until 1941. In the 1940 census, she is listed as married, but living without her spouse. She did however, have 3 daughters with the last name of Brown: Virginia L, age 16; Phyllis M., age 14, & Barbara E., age 11. The U.S., Social Security Applications and Claims Index, 1936-2007 entry on Ancestry for Phyllis, lists her father as Edward Brown. Virginia’s marriage announcement in the newspaper lists her surname as Brown. Her father was already living apart from her mother as of 1930 per that census, so the only father she may have known was her stepfather Charles Manbeck.

In response to inquiry for memorial number for Edwin Brown (1901-1962):
I relied on data from some Ancestry databases which led me to a death record for his father, John Henry, that states John died in Yakima, WA on 12 Dec 1948 & he was buried in Calvary Cemetery. I then found his mother, Mary Ellen, was buried in City View Cemetery just like Edwin. Mary's id is 12251723 & John's is 163281795.
