She was a child day care provider for 38 years and loved watching her grandchildren. Marlene was born May 6, 1941 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to the late Romeo and Angeline Crisi. She is preceded in death by her brothers Frank Crisi and Tony Crisi.
She enjoyed playing bingo and was an active bingo volunteer for Holy Name of Jesus, the Steelton Moose, and the VFW in Steelton. She was also a member of the Steelton Women of the Moose for many years. She lived her life for the love of family, friends, and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband Leroy Wheeler, three daughters Lynn Wheeler of Harrisburg, Toni Wheeler-Wimmer (Jake) of Roxbury, and Jody Wheeler-Linn (Breaux) of Harrisburg. She is also survived by her sister Laverne Martin of Monessen, PA, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, 2100 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg from 6:00P.M. to 8:00P.M. on March 18, 2020. Funeral Services will be held at the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home on March 19, 2020 with a visitation from 10:00A.M. to 11:00A.M. and a Funeral Service at 11:00A.M., followed by burial at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
