Rebecca Susan Anderson Ivy, or known to all as "Becky", was born in Mobile, Alabama on April 24, 1954 at Providence Hospital to Mr & Mrs Obediah C. Anderson (Mary Marvin Sproles). She married Richard George Ivy on August 30, 1975 in Mobile, Alabama at Government Street Presbyterian Church. Their two children are Rachael Susan and Corinne Rebecca. She died March 16, 2021 at Mobile Infirmary after suddenly developing pneumonia while being hospitalized for another illness; possibly related to an autoimmune disorder. Her death certificate stated the primary cause of death as respiratory failure with declining liver function and autoimmune disorder as contributing factors. She was up and talking normal one day, and the next was in a complete natural coma on life support. She departed this Earthly plane 24 hours later to enter the green pastures and walk next to the still waters which the Savior had prepared for her. We are unsure if COVID officially caused the pneumonia because in March 2020, testing was just becoming available and nothing was yet locked down to prevent spread. However, her symptoms very closely mimic the illness, and many professionals have leaned toward that unofficially. She left a family sleeping in the dust, but also knowing that they too shall in their final day awake to everlasting life.
