The following poem was written by Jean's father.
My Daughter
By Jack Bryant
I have heard of glorious angels
in a far away place
But I have my own angel
For I can see her face.
I want to see those angels
sometime bye and bye
But I would not trade my angel
For any in the sky.
Her sins she has not any
She’s just as white as snow
She is God’s little angel too
I want you to know.
She is one in ten million
And that would put it mild
I hope this isn’t too much
Because she’s my only child.
