Kim was known for being a hard worker in everything she does. Her first job was First Kitchen in 1993 through the beginning of 1994. Then she worked for the Crisis Center from 1994 through 1997. Kim attended schools in Sherman ISD and graduated in the Class of 1999 from Sherman High School. She had her first daughter in June after graduating high school. Even though Kim graduated from Sherman, she always cheered for Denison in various sporting events. While learning to become a mother, she also held a job at Kohls Department Store. In September of 2004, Kim gave birth to her second daughter. She worked at Kohls until she decided to turn her focus to raising her children and maintaining her health.
Some of Kim's favorites things included: spending time with her family, participating in church events, enjoying nap time, swimming, various arts and crafts activities, crossword puzzles, and Rock n' Roll music.
Kim is the daughter of Angel Thomas and RB Freeman. She is the sister of Safina Osho, Tasha McIntyre, and brother Tyrone Dunlap.
She is survived by Zayla Renee Pope and Taylor Morgan Pope, special friend, Rodney Pope, father of the daughters, other relatives and friends.
Services will be Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 11 o'clock A.M. Waldo Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Welton Stoker officiating. Public viewing will be Friday, March 20, 2020 from 11 A.M. to 5 P.M. at Waldo Funeral Home, Sherman.
