Born in Camden, son of Eletta Parker McGorman and William Bacon. He had been a local resident for the past eight years.
Mr. Bacon retired from the Campbell Soup Co. of Camden and was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his daughter, Eletta Gawin of Clayton; his companion of 27 years, Ruth Hart, with whom he lived; and three grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Veterans Cemetery in Cape May Court House. Arrangements are by the Ingersoll-Greenwood Funeral Home, North Wildwood.
