Donna Ethelyn Livengood, age 94, of Battle Creek passed away peacefully Sunday evening, March 15, 2020. She was born July 2, 1925 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Floyd Leslie and Frances Elizabeth (Wilcox) Robinson. Shortly after birth she moved with her family to Battle Creek where she has lived since. She was a 1945 graduate of Battle Creek Central High School and worked briefly at Westin Biscuit Company, where she met Phil Livengood. Donna Ethelyn Robinson married Phillip N. Livengood on January 4, 1948 in Battle Creek, Michigan. After their marriage, Donna became a full-time homemaker. She spoiled her family with her cooking and baking skills, especially her cookies, cakes and delicious pies. Donna also enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting, playing Bingo, and watching TV shows & baseball.
Sadly, her husband Phil preceded her in death on December 3, 2011 after 63 wonderful years of marriage. Surviving are two sons, three grandsons, and two great-granddaughters. In addition to her husband, Donna was also preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Lewellen, Raymond, Duane and Ronald.
Donna will be interred privately next to her husband, Phillip at Fort Custer National Cemetery.
