Judy Arlene Rand Hale, daughter of Ralph and Helen Sanders Rand, was born May 29, 1957 in Calico Rock, Arkansas. She departed this life March 11, 2020 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 62 years, 9 months and 11 days. After graduating from Calico Rock High School, she attended college at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, majoring in engineering. She was united in marriage to Joe Hale July 7, 1978 and together they raised two children. Judy spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, grandmother, homemaker and friend. During her working years, she was the secretary for Rand Rodeo Company and owned and operated The Embroidery Corral in Dolph. She was plant manager at Unifirst Manufacturing in Cave City for over 10 years. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Dolph Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years: Joe Hale of the home; two children: Andy Joe Hale and wife Elizabeth of Calico Rock and Sarah Smith and husband Jr. of Melbourne; her parents: Ralph and Helen Rand of Dolph; one brother: Tommy Rand and wife Sonia of Mountain Home; four grandchildren: Myra and Alba Hale and Whitley and Sydney Smith; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and many good friends. She was preceded in death by two siblings: Rema Stacy and Tony Rand.
Visitation will be Friday, March 13 from 6-8 p.m at Eddie's Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Memorial service will be held Saturday, March 14 at 10:00 a.m. at Dolph Baptist Church with Victor Jones officiating.
