He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Helen Marie Richards; beautiful daughters, Jaida Rose, age 9 and Shelbie Marie, age 5, of the home; mother, Clarissa Richards; sister, Sherry Lawson and husband Tom; brother, Anthony Richards and wife Lacey; his niece, Morgan Lawson and nephew, Lukas Lawson who both knew him as Ol' Buddy; father-in-law, Bill McClung; mother-in-law, Rose McClung; sister-in-law, Debbie Taylor; brother-in-law, Billy McClung.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Christian-Sells Funeral Home in Rogersville. A celebration of his life will follow with Pastor Tom Lawson and Pastor Rodney Cobble officiating.
