Timothy Rex "Tim" Richards, age 38, of Rogersville, after winning a courageous battle with cancer, went to be with the Lord Saturday, October 17, 2015. He was employed with Persia Utility for 14 years. He was an enthusiastic Sunday School teacher and was a student of God's word. Tim enjoyed fishing, playing music, and beating everybody at chess. He was a loving and devoted father and husband, and friend to all who met him and will be greatly missed.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rev. J. W. Richards.
He is survived by his loving wife of 10 years, Helen Marie Richards; beautiful daughters, Jaida Rose, age 9 and Shelbie Marie, age 5, of the home; mother, Clarissa Richards; sister, Sherry Lawson and husband Tom; brother, Anthony Richards and wife Lacey; his niece, Morgan Lawson and nephew, Lukas Lawson who both knew him as Ol' Buddy; father-in-law, Bill McClung; mother-in-law, Rose McClung; sister-in-law, Debbie Taylor; brother-in-law, Billy McClung.
