Virginia Harwell Lowe, 84, of Rosebud and formerly of Hubbard, passed away Monday, March 16, 2020 in a Rosebud nursing facility. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18 at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard with Rev. Ricky Woodall officiating. Visitation will be 10 - 11 a.m. before the services on Wednesday at the funeral home. A private family interment will be at Hopewell Cemetery near Corsicana.
Virginia was born October 25, 1935 in Corsicana and lived most of her early years in Corsicana where she attended public schools. She had a long career working for Brookshires Grocery Store in Hillsboro for over 35 years. Virginia married Ed Lowe in 1977 and resided in Hubbard until a few years ago when she moved to Rosebud to live with her son and daughter-in-law.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Lowe; two daughters, Michelle Horn and Denise Horn Pick and a step-daughter, Nancy Kuykendall.
Survivors include her son, Sam Horn and wife, Monica of Rosebud; two grandchildren, Christi Allen and husband, Ronnie of Grand Prairie and Danny Horn of Waco; three great grandchildren, Deltyn Demerson of San Diego, California and Hannah Horn and Lincoln Horn, both of Waco; stepchildren, James Lowe of Blanco, John Lowe and wife, Pam of Dallas and Sarah Lowe Bennett and husband, Scott of Hubbard and stepson-in-law, Glenn Kuykendall of Hubbard and other extended family members and many friends.
Pallbearers will be James Lowe, Jeff Kuykendall, Scott Bennett, Ronnie Allen, Jamie Ryman and MJ Ryman.
Honorary pallbearers will be John Lowe and Glenn Kuykendall.
