Mildred Robinson a 92 year old Trenton resident, passed away at 9:20 p.m., Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Sunnyview Nursing Home.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Resthaven Mortuary of Trenton. Burial will follow in Half Rock Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled from 1:00 until service time Wednesday. Memorial donations are suggested to Half Rock Cemetery and may be left with or mailed to the funeral home.
Mildred Robinson was born June 14, 1927 in Harris, MO to Wade Hampton and Helen Mildred (Gibson) Stanturf. Mildred graduated from Princeton High School with the class of 1946. On February 12, 1948 she was united in marriage to Jack Robinson. He preceded her in death November 5, 1989. After their marriage they lived in Waterloo, IA for 2 years then moved back to a farm in the Harris Area. They co-owned a farm supply in Galt, MO where Mildred was the bookkeeper for several years. She was a member of 10th Street Baptist Church.
Surviving relatives include her son Mark Robinson and wife Tracy, of Platte City, MO, grandchildren Ethan Robinson of Chicago, IL, Colby Robinson of Kisrsville, MO, Gabrielle Robinson and Dakota Robinson both of Platte City, MO, and great grandchildren Chloe and Olivia.
Those preceding her in death include her parents, husband, and son Chris Virlin Robinson, sisters Joy Brown and Nelda Hobbs, and brother Rev. William Stanturf.
