Jordan Mathew Long -- known by many as Mr. J, JLo, and “pal” -- departed this life January 21, 2020, two months after his 22nd birthday.

Jordan was born on November 29,1997 in Orange County California. He graduated from Westfield High School in Westfield, IN and was completing his final semester of undergraduate work in Sport Marketing and Management at Indiana University.

Jordan lived life to the fullest and cherished his family and friends in a way that only he could. He was truly an amazing young man. He had a smile a mile wide and a heart as big and warm as the brightest sunset. Jordan was truly one of a kind, his contagious personality lit up every single room he entered. Not only did he turn no one away, but he left no one behind.

Through good times and bad he was always smiling, finding humor in almost every circumstance. More than anything, Jordan loved spending time with family and friends, quick to give to and care for the people in his life. He was a devoted son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin, teammate, and friend. He respected elders and had faith in his Savior Jesus Christ to cover him always.

Jordan passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2020. In addition to his parents Brian and Kyla Long, Jordan is survived by his loving sister Lauren, his grandparents James and Johanna Long, Uncle Dave Long, Uncle Phillip Lyles, Aunt Julie and Uncle Miguel Larrucea, his loving cousins Whitney, Phil, David, Joseph, Timothy, Antonio, Miguel and many amazing friends and his brothers in Delta Chi fraternity.
