Scott Michael Sloan, 56, of Salina, died Sunday, August 2, 2015. He was born May 28, 1959, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of Clifford and Kathleen (Audsley) Sloan. Scott worked in sales for business supply, trucking and home improvement. He also worked as a golf professional in Arizonia.

Golf was a large part of Scott's life. He won the Saline County Medal two times, the Saline County 4-Ball three times (once with his father as partner), the Saline County Match Play two times, and earned Saline County Player of the Year in 1990. Scott was well known for his playing ability.

He enjoyed hunting and fishing and attending his girls' sporting events. He was a member of Knights of Columbus and called bingo for many years.

Scott was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother; Kathleen Audsley; daughters Jayme Sloan, and Jessica and Jennifer Butler; sisters, Betsy (Jamie) Meeks and Nan (Jeff )Brumbaugh; stepbrother, Mike Audsley; significant other, Lisa Burns, and grandchildren, Cameron, Nolan and Carson.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday Aug 6, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eight St., Salina 67401. Cremation was chosen, there will be no viewing. Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Friday August 7, at the mortuary. Memorial s to The First Tee of Salina.
