Mrs. Mary Joyce McKnight age 78 of Mt. Pleasant, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, March 10, 2020.

She was born Nov. 30, 1941 to the late Lorenzo Lyles and Annie Pearl Bennett Lyles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Alonzo Lyles and sister Flossie Bell Bullock.

She attended Clark Training High School and graaduated from Cornerstone Christian Correspondence School.

She worked for Mt. Pleasant Shirt Factory for over 20 years. She accepted Christ at an early age at New Zion Baptist Church at Pisgah Ridge, when the church no longer existed she moved her membership to Mt. Williamson Primitive Baptist Church and later to West Point B. Church in Mt. Pleasant.

She is survived by four sons, Minister Samuel T. (Sandra) Jordan Jr., and Zebedee Jordan, both of Columbia, and Joe T. Jordan and Hollis J. Jordan both of Mt Pleasant.

Also, one grandson Christopher T. Jordan. sister Frances Lyles of Mt. Pleasant and brother William T. Lyles of Columbia.

The body will lie in state Monday, March 16 from 2-7 p.m. Visitaion with the family from 5-7 at Roundtree, Napier & Ogilvie Columbia Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 17 at noonNoon at Mt Lebanon M. B. Church. Rev. Rufus Crawford Eulogist, Rev. Gregory C Givens officiating. Internment Pinecrest Memeorial Gardens.

Roundtree, Naiper and Ogilvie Columbia Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
