I am wondering if the Abel Main that was married to Mary Brown is the same Abel Main married to Martha Patty Gavitt. The gravestone of the Abel Main, buried in the Brown Cemetery says he died in 1848 at 72 years old. That would put him born in 1776. The Able Main married to Patty Gavitt is on the 1850 census at 69 years old which would have him born 1781. She is buried in a different cemetery. Patty Gavitt is on the Land Grant in Michigan as the widow of Abel Main who died 1851.
