Kenneth W. Schodt, 63, of Muncy, died Thursday, March 12, 2020 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport.

Cause of death PEA arrest due to triple vessel disease.

Born August 8, 1956 in Muncy, he was a son of the late Paul Kenneth and Marion (Resseguie) Schodt. On July 23, 2000 he married the former Jacki Newcomer, who survives. They celebrated 36 years together.

Kenny was a 1974 graduate of Muncy High School. He worked various jobs, most recently as an independent hauler.

He enjoyed spending time with family; driving truck; muscle cars, especially the 1970 Oldsmobile 442; and playing cards.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter and son-in-law, Alicia and Vince Emery, of McEwensville; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Glenn Kurtz, of Linden; three grandchildren, Vincent, Christopher and Katelyn; and three nephews, Cory Bassler and his wife, Lynne Goodbass, Chad Kurtz and his wife, Rhiannon and Eric Kurtz and his wife, Jonnie.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Bassler.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Muncy Cemetery, 204 E. Penn St., Muncy, with the Rev. Jane O’Borski, pastor of Bethany United Methodist Church, Hughesville, officiating.
