She was born October 2, 1930, in Haralson County to the late Frank and Ethyl Smith Eckles.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Lisa Claire Williams; and two sisters and brothers-in-law, Charlotte and Delton Hinesley and Sarah and Griffin Moore.
She was a devoted member of Antioch Baptist Church in the Buncombe community and a devoted and loving homemaker and mother. She loved to farm and work in her yard. She loved her community and friends and helping the ones in need.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband of 65 years, Jack D. Williams; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Jeffery and Angela Williams of Waco, Keith and Suzanne Williams of Tallapoosa, and Kent Williams of Waco; five grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of neighbors and friends who will all miss her dearly.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2020, at 2:00 PM from Antioch Baptist Church
with Bro. Lat Smith officiating.
Gentlemen serving as pallbearers will be Kent Williams, Jeffrey Williams, Keith Williams, Skyler Williams, Josh Williams, and Kaegen Williams.
Honorary pallbearers will be Branson Williams, Haldyn Williams, Aaron Boyles, Fisher Boyles, Keith Redding, Brandon Bell, Jack Williams, Tony Jordan, Tripp Redding, and Brenton Smith.
Interment will follow in Antioch Church Cemetery with Rev. Kevin McAdams presiding.
Her family will receive friends, Monday evening, March 17th, between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM.
