Juanita Warren Davis - "Mudgie" 90, of Bessemer, Alabama was received by her heavenly home March 13th, 2020. Nita was born June 6, 1929 in Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles A. Warren and Eula Ousley Warren, three brothers and three sisters. Nita was a product of The Great Depression. It influenced her in a way that could be felt by everyone who met her. No one crossed her path without a hug, kiss or the feeling she knew you forever. Even when she had very little, she gave freely of everything she had. No one was allowed to grace her home without a meal. A sharp dresser, Nita's love of a nice pair of shoes was only exceeded by the love for her family. We were fortunate to be shown a love so complete. She loved wholeheartedly, without condition. A woman of immense strength, Nita was the rock of our family. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her son Steve (Vanessa) Corvin and grandchildren Steven and Rachel. Daughter Niki (Danny) Scoggins, grandson Steve (Tanya) Scoggins and great-grandchildren Kirsten, Kaden and Kaley. Granddaughter Anita (Kevin) Thomas and great-grandchildren Olivia and Jake. Grandson Kevin (Brittany) Scoggins and great-grandaughter Millie. The family would like to express our sincere appreciation to the care-givers at The Oaks on Parkwood. You are now our family. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m.. The chapel service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home with burial at Valley Creek Baptist Cemetery.
