Q.M.C.WINNEMUCCA, Aug. 13.--Ernest G. Thomsen, 38, a World War veteran, died Saturday at the Letterman Hospital in San Francisco, where he was taken two months ago. The remains were brought to Winnemucca yesterday morning. The deceased was born at Calus, Cal., and came to Nevada when a child. He spent the greater part of hls life at Denio, Ore., and in 1920 he married Nellie Van Dreilen of Winnemucca. Mr. and Mrs. Thomsen have lived in Winnemucca since 1922. He was engaged in the grocery business for several years, but because of ill health he was forced to sell out. At the time of his death he was employed with the reconstruction crew of the state highway department. He is survived by his widow and three children. He is also survived by five brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held tomorrow from the Baptist Church, under the auspices of Humboldt Lodge, No. 16, I.O.O.F. The pallbearers will be Thorn Abel, Philip Voltaire, Joe Moore, Max Ellison, Carl Perry and Sherman Ellison.
