Amanda Willis EDMONSON was married twice, her first was husband Thomas Chilton TURPIN, Jr - he was born 28 Sep 1855 in AR & died 10 Jul 1897 in Little Rock, AR, buried in unknown cemetery (Conway?), Faulkner Cty, AR. Amanda's second husband was Alantas Augustus "Gus" PRIEST who is buried next to her.
The birth date on her headstone may be in error - she was born in March 1869 according to the 1900 census but that too could be in error.

Obit for Amanda Willis (nee Edmonson) Turpin - Priest (widow of Thomas C Turpin Jr, first husband and wife of second husband Augustus "Gus" Alantas Priest, second husband)
Sorry I don't have exact name of paper and the date of publication but I believe it was in the Courier News, Blytheville, Mississippi County, AR (1953).

*Rites Tomorrow For Mrs. Priest
Services for Mrs. Amada Willis Priest, 86, of Armorel, who died yesterday, are to be conducted at 3 p m tomorrow at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev William Edmonson.
Born at Conway, Ark, Mrs Priest had lived in Armorel for 20 years.
Survivors include her husband, A A Priest; two sons, Guy E Turpin of Little Rock and Carl Turpin of California; four daughters, Mrs. Essie Long of Rodono Beach, Calif, Mrs Bertha Pickens of Booneville, Ark, Mrs Mertie White of Wasco, Calif, Mrs Ruth Ashmore of Armorel; and 37 grandchildren.
Buried in Dog Wood Cemetery, (Blytheville, AR)
