Betty Jo Cunningham, age 81 years, a resident of Elkins, passed away Thursday evening, March 12, 2020 at her home.
She was born October 26, 1938 at Elkins, a daughter of the late Roy and Claircia R. Snyder Kyle.
On July 2, 1961 in Elkins, she was married to Harold “Wade” Cunningham who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Randall W. Cunningham and wife Brenda and Wayne A. Cunningham and wife Karen, all of Elkins and beloved granddaughter, Ashley J. Cunningham.
One brother, William “Bill” Kyle and wife Nancy of Huttonsville, WV and one nephew, William Billy Kyle of Missouri.
Also preceding her in death was one brother, Roy C. “Jim” Kyle.
Betty was a homemaker and a member of the Elkins Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday school in the Children’s Department for forty five years.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm Monday, March 16, 2020 at the Elkins Church of the Nazarene.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 pm Monday from the church with Pastor Terry Burgess officiating.
Interment will follow in the Cunningham Cemetery at Whitmer, WV.
