Laurence F. Barrett, 82, formerly of Highland Avenue, died Thursday in Toledo Hospital. For the last eight months, he had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Sally Duncan, of Parkway Drive North, Maumee. He was employed 26 years at the American-Lincoln Corp., retiring in 1968. also surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Vivian Liebnau. Graveside services will be at 11a.m. Modnay in Patterson Cemetary, Patterson, Ohio. The body will be in the Walker-Feilbach Mortuary, Talmadge Road, after 7 p.m. Saturday, with Masonic services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday. The family requests that any tributes be in the form of contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.

Laurence was a 60 year Master Mason, of the Forest Lodge #378. At the time of death he had completed 61 years. He was also a memeber of the Eagles in Maumee, Ohio.
He worked for Davy Tree Company until 1944 when he went to work for American-Lincoln Corp. He retired from there after 27 years in 1971. He also worked for the Toledo Zoo as night security a job he thoroughly enjoyed. Also a member of the Toledo Elks Lodge and of the Toledo Zoological Society.
