Stephen James Armstrong, known to friends and family as Jim, was born on November 4, 1939, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. He left us the 6th of March, 2020, passing into eternal peace; leaving his suffering behind. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Catherine and his deeply loved family members, father Lawrence Craig Armstrong, mother Doris Irene, née Melville, son William Armstrong, brother John Armstrong, and son in law Richard Sarti.
He was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather and will be dearly missed by his children and his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
He was universally known as a good man and was loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He was honest, hard-working, patient, always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family, and utterly devoted to his family. He will be dearly missed.
