Janette Shields Penfield, age 50, of Marion, North Carolina passed away on Friday, March 13, 2020 at her residence. A native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, Janette was born on June 9, 1969 to the late Paul and Rosa Miller Shields.
Janette was a loving mother and grandmother who gave her heart and soul to her family. She was always there for anyone who needed help or just someone to talk to.
Left to cherish her memories are two children, April Penfield Lawson (Darrell) and Corey Penfield (Kristen) and three siblings, James Shields, Joan Dobbins and Janice Shields. Also surviving Janette are seven grandchildren, Bryceson, Madison, Emma, Ally, Noah, Kylie, Kinsley and a granddaughter, Skylar to be born.
