Hazel Marie White Duncan, 90, of Eads Mill Road, Princeton, passed away peacefully, Thursday, March 12, 2020 at her home. Born February 22, 1930 in Stotesbury, WV, she was the daughter of the late Ether and Gladys Hazelwood White and the stepdaughter of Willie White. Hazel was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Mrs. Duncan retired in 1982 as a 30-year employee of Maidenform in Princeton and enjoyed sewing for her family. She was a faithful member of the Rich Creek Baptist Church until her illness prevented her from attending. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, William Edward Duncan. Survivors include three sons, Mike Duncan and wife Kathy, Barry Duncan and wife Barbara and David Duncan and wife Janet. One sister, Geraldine Bradley of Athens. Two brothers, William White of Manassas, VA and Bobby N. White of Princeton. Six grandchildren, Nine great-grandchildren and one on the way. Also surviving, several nieces, nephews and her church family. Services to celebrate the life of Hazel Marie Duncan will be held 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors Jamie Mattox, Ralph Calfee and Eugene Hazelwood officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton.
