Babbage, eldest son of the late John Parker Babbage, Eaglehawk; father of Alfred James, Yan Yean; and Horace Frederick, Regent, brother of Charles Babbage, Elsternwick; nephew of the late James Henry Babbage, Chudleigh; and greatnephew of the late Thomas Babbage, Esq.,
Kingsteignton, Devonshire, England; late of G.P.O., Melbourne, aged 56 years. (Interred
privately on the 17th in Coburg Cemetery.)
