George Oakley, 82, a former resident of Old Mill Rd., passed away March 1, 2020.
George was a lifelong resident of High Point, a son of the late George Oakley, Sr. and Laura Bain Oakley. He was a proud veteran of the Army and retired from Old Dominion Freight after 25 years of service. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Carolyn Bodenheimer Oakley. George was a member of Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Angela Schuck and her husband Jay.
