Kathryn R. Elliott, 73, of Jefferson City, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Capital Region Medical Center. She was born on September 10, 1946, in Prince Frederick, Maryland, a daughter of the late Wilmer and Marjorie (Dieckriede) Elliott.
Kathryn attended Helias High School and was a 1964 graduate of Jefferson City High School. She was employed with the State of Missouri, Department of Social Services for over 40 years until her retirement in 2001. Kathryn was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Branson to see shows, Arrow Rock Lyceum to watch plays, St. Louis for concerts and spending time with her family.
Kathryn is survived by her sister: Karen Elliott; brother: Ken Elliott (Rosemary Hutson); niece: Amy Elliott and her son, Dakota; nephew: Kenny Joe Elliott (Karena) and daughter, Kembry; uncle: Glen Elliott from Biloxi, Mississippi and many other aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother: Kevin Elliott.
Friends will be received from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, 2020 at Houser-Millard Funeral Directors with a Prayer Service at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Fr. Don Antweiler officiating. Interment will follow in Resurrection Catholic Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the masses at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church or to the Samaritan Center.
