Wilbur I. Brawner, 84, of Dumfries, died Thursday, July 6, 1989, at Potomac Hospital. He was a lifetime resident of Dumfries. He was a charter member of the Dumfries-Triangle Volunteer Fire Department. In 1956, he retired from the federal government at Quantico after 30 years. For a number of years he worked with J.F. Fick and was a member of the Modern Woodmen Club. Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Mountcastle Funeral Home in Woodbridge, where services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the Dumfries Cemetery.
