Born September 25, 1934 in Toccoa, he was the son of the late Clyde and Mary Farmer Ramsey.
Charles spent his entire career in the furniture industry. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved his family, his grandsons and great-grandsons were the love of his life. Charles enjoyed fishing with his best friend, Talmadge Craig. NASCAR and anything related to Georgia Tech Sports, the Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Falcons were high on his list of favorite things.
Family members include his wife, Anna Bell Craig Ramsey; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Myra Ramsey of Cartersville; grandchildren, Jeff and Heather Ramsey and Matthew Ramsey; great-grandsons, Griffin Ramsey and Andrew Ramsey; brother and sister-in-law, Carlton and Donna Ramsey; sisters, Florence Grafton and Margie Stovall. He was preceded in death by his son, David Ronald “Ronny” Ramsey.
Graveside services will be held at two o’clock Sunday, March 15, 2020 at Stephens Memorial Gardens with Dr. Tim Miller officiating
Grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers; Jeff Ramsey, Matthew Ramsey, Griffin Ramsey, and Andrew Ramsey.
