Glenn Charles Martin, age 82 of Mechanicsburg, died Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Messiah Lifeways in Mechanicsburg. Born October 9, 1937 in Mechanicsburg, he was the only child of the late Lester and Dorothy E. (Zimmerman) Martin.

Glenn retired as a pipe fitter /foreman with H.B. McClure. He was a member of Mechanicsburg Brethren in Christ Church and a lifetime member of the Mechanicsburg Fire Company. Glenn served as Chief of Upper Allen Township Fire Company, Assistant Chief of Monaghan Township Fire Company and part of the fire crew at Williams Grove Speedway. Glenn enjoyed hunting, spending time at deer camp, golfing and woodworking. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Glenn is survived by his loving wife Sara J. (Keefer) Martin, two sons Kenneth M. Martin of Watertown, NY and Rodney A. Martin and his wife Julie of Pennsylvania Furnace; two daughters Barbara L. Cain and her husband Phillip of Mechanicsburg and Carolyn A. Moyer and her husband Timothy of Carlisle; five grandchildren as well as seven great-grandchildren.
