Howard Garrett Robinson, 56, of Bridgewater passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 9, 2020 at Faxton St. Luke’s Health Care.

He was born on April 21, 1963 in Herkimer, a son of the late Howard and Ferne (Ray) Robinson. Howard attended Mt. Markham High school and was a lifelong resident of the Mohawk Valley. Howard was employed at Indium Corporation for over 25 years where he dedicated his life to his craft and supporting his family. On June 24, 2006, in Niagara Falls, NY, he was united in marriage to Kelly Chapman, a blessed union of over 12 years filled with much love and mutual devotion.

Howard was a classic busy body who was always doing something during his free time. He enjoyed raising rabbits, small engine repair, and taking care of his beloved property. He especially loved exercising, lifting weights, and body building.

He is survived by his wife Kelly of Bridgewater, his two sons, Darrel Williams and his wife Megan of Cedar Lake, and Daniel Williams of Bridgewater. He leaves behind two grandchildren who knew him as Papa, Dylan and Ohin of Cedar Lake. He also leaves two sisters, Terry (Dave) Murray of West Winfield, Leona (John) Velasco of Richfield Springs, two brothers-in-law, Robert Chapman of Brookfield, and Tracey Chapman of Dayton, Ohio, a sister-in-law, Cindy (Reggie) Pean of Florida. Howard also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews, and many extended members of the Williams family.

Family and Friends of Howard will be invited to attend a gathering in his honor at a date and time to be determined. Further communication will follow once details have been finalized .The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the selfless and compassionate men and women of the various Utica emergency response teams and the entire staff at St. Luke’s Hospital.
