Sandra was born on may 20, 1940 in Galesburg, Illinois. She was the daughter of Roy Anderson and Pearl (Reeves) Anderson. Sandy graduated from Galesburg High School.
She worked for St Mary Hospital for many years moving to the Quad Cities where she retired from Scott County Cody Homestead.
Her love of dance began at a very young age. There wasn't a dance style that she didn't love. She lit up whenever she could learn or teach. She competed in dance competition's and danced most weekends in the quad cities and abroad at all her favorite dance clubs.
Sandra was a kind and generous person that participated in many charities including Big Brother/Big Sister of the Quad Cities.
Sandy's greatest love was her children.
Douglas (Laurie) shared the love of Antiques of all kinds and Jacob (Penny) shared the love of dance and late night food.
She is proceeded in death by her parents, a sister and 3 brothers.
She is survived by her children Douglas (Laurie) Bass of Fulton, Illinois. Jacob (Penny) Bass of Rock Island Illinois. 1Brother, Ronald, (Shirlene) Anderson of Galesburg, Illinois, nieces, nephews, many friends and extended family, Bridgett, Nick, Haven and Holden.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Big Brothers-Big Sisters.
