CONVENT STATION -- Sr. Natalie Marie Moore, a Sister of Charity of Saint Elizabeth, died August 1, 2007 at Saint Anne Villa in Convent Station. She was 97.

Sr. Natalie was born in Jersey City, the daughter of John and Anne (Aughney) Moore. She entered the Sisters of Charity on September 8, 1928 and was a member for 79 years.

Sr. Natalie was engaged in educational ministry in New Jersey at St. Antoninus in Newark; St. Mary in Nutley; St. Cecilia in Englewood; Holy Cross in Harrison; St. Margaret in Morrison; All Saints in Jersey City; St. George's in Paterson; Our Lady of Sorrows in South Orange; St. Aloysius in Newark; St. Stephen in Kearny; St. Joseph in Paterson and St. Mary's in Jersey City.

Sr. Natalie served at St. Vincent Hospital in Montclair and St. Elizabeth Hospital in Elizabeth before retiring to Caritas Community in Jersey City and Seton Manor in Newark before moving to Saint Anne Villa, where she resided until her death.

She is survived by her cousins, Rose Marie and Jack Wallace of Hardyston.

The wake for Sr. Natalie will be held in Saint Anne Villa Chapel in Convent Station, followed by Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery in Convent Station. Source: Daily Record, Morris Cnty, NJ.
